Construction Clinics
Two construction clinics and a teaching clinic will be held this year.
Construction/Teaching Clinic 1 will be at 10 am on March 20th at the
SOBG Shop. Construction Clinic 2 will be at 10 am on April 3rd at
Booth Fire and Safety. Construction Clinic 3 will be at 10 am on
April 24th at Phil Moore Park (which will also include a used car sale
and a free ride down the track) .
Photo/Inspection Day
Saturday May 8th, photo day
& inspections will be from 8:00am-1:00pm at Phil Moore Park.
Race Week
The Racers Gathering will be held at the
new Bowling Green Hot
Rods stadium on Friday May 14th. Every child who registers for
the derby will receive two tickets and two food vouchers.
Additional tickets/vouchers are $10 for the pair.
Stock Cars are to be brought to the gymnasium at Phil Moore park on
Monday, May 17th between 5:00-8:00 pm for impound. Super Stock Cars are to be presented for
impound on Tuesday, May 18th between
5:00-8:00 pm
The Sponsor Appreciation Lunch & Oil Can race will be held Wednesday,
May 19th, from 11:00am - 1:00 pm with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon
cutting at 12:15. Practice runs on the track are allowed for
all racers from 1:00 pm until dark. The
bracket drawings and a rules meeting will be held at 7 pm.
Racing will begin on Friday, May 21st at 5pm and will be for STOCK cars
only. On Saturday, May 22nd racing will continue at 6:30 am sharp!
